
People often think of exercise as a chore, but it really doesn’t have to be that way! You don’t need to go to the gym or go for a run for it to be considered exercise. You can do fun things that you love. Here are some non traditional ways that I like to exercise.
- Hiking – also an amazing way to spend a morning with friends and explore the scenery
- Walking – so easy but soooo good for you. Try walking to work and back (or the train station if it’s too far away).
- Rock climbing – have you ever been indoor rock climbing?! It is seriously so much fun and you don’t actually realize how exhausted you are until you stop
- Dancing – hip hop is my fav!
- Cleaning – weird I know, but cleaning your house actually burns lots of calories because you’re constantly moving.
- Sex – enough said
- Yoga and practicing handstands – so much fun!
- Play on a playground like you are a little kid again
- Play video games that are active such as wii fit, wii tennis, dance revolution, etc
- Go to a gymnastics class or a bounce / trampoline park!
