Sometimes cravings come around and you’re tempted to eat a packet of chips or chocolate. Here are some healthy alternatives that will curb any craving!
Sweet – Roasted Apple Or Pear
Cut an apple or pear in half (take out the core), and then top with a little bit of coconut oil, honey and cinnamon. Roast it in the oven until soft. YUM!
Chocolate – Healthy Chocolate Balls
Make your own chocolate balls by blending up 1 cup of almonds, 12 fresh dates plus a bit of cacao powder (add a few tablespoons of water if you need). Roll them up into balls and then roll in coconut. You can also add any other healthy ingredient you want!
Ice Cream – Banana Nice Cream
Banana ice cream is the best! I always keep frozen bananas in my freezer. When you need ice cream, blend them up with a little bit of almond milk and add in any flavours you want (such as cacao powder and some peanut butter). Make sure your bananas frozen so they become really thick and creamy.
Creamy – Carrot Sticks And Spinach & Feta Dip
You can make your own dip, but there are so many healthy ones available these days! Find a healthy dip with no preservatives, and serve with some cut up carrot sticks or your own homemade crisps (see below).

Deep Fried – Homemade Fries
Oven baked fries can taste just as good I promise! Cut up a sweet potato (or white potato) into thin strips. Cover in olive oil, salt, pepper and herbs. Then lay them out on a tray (so none are touching) and bake in a hot oven for around 30 minutes.
Salty – Homemade Crisps
Buy a packet of mountain bread wraps. Drizzle one in a little bit of olive oil and sea salt. Bake in the oven until nice and crisp, then tear into pieces. These are great served with dip!
