In this interview, I chatted with 21 y/o Georgia who lives in Melbourne, Australia. She’s a dance instructor and she’s about to graduate university as a PE teacher.
Georgia recently finished my 3 Steps to Lean Legs Program and she’s also one of the winners of my Progress Pic Competition.

But without further ado, here is a summary of Georgia’s experience & results after completing my Program.

GEORGIA’S REVIEW OF THE 3 STEPS TO LEAN LEGS PROGRAM
1. WHAT WAS YOUR FITNESS ROUTINE BEFORE YOU STARTED 3 STEPS TO LEAN LEGS PROGRAM? WHAT MADE YOU CHANGE IT?
GEORGIA: Before I started your program I had gone through quite a difficult break up and, outside of my 3 nights a week dancing, I was doing very little exercise, eating poorly and feeling quite sad for myself.
Before my relationship, I was crazy active, fit, and happy and I wanted to get back to feeling like that and to feeling confident about myself.
I realised that relying on dancing alone was not going to be enough anymore and I needed to change my mentality to change my body!
2. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT THE 3 STEPS TO LEAN LEGS PROGRAM AND WHAT CONVINCED YOU TO TRY IT OUT?
GEORGIA: As I studying sports science at university, I was undertaking a nutrition unit and fell in love with the subject.
I started researching how different exercises and diets can affect your fitness and appearance and when googling ‘how to work out your legs without bulking up‘ I came across your website and program.

4. DID YOU KNOW WHAT’S YOUR BODY TYPE BEFORE DOING MY BODY TYPE QUIZ?
GEORGIA: I had been familiar with female body types through uni studies but had not paid much attention to it.
As I have always danced, I assumed it was just what worked for me. When I started to dive deeper into health and fitness I realised my body type had a big affect on the exercise choices I made!
BTW, Georgia is a Mesomorph body type and she followed my Lean Legs program for Mesomorphs. :)

5. WHAT WAS YOUR ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE PART OF MY PROGRAM AND WHY?
GEORGIA: My favourite part was the consistency and dependency!
Each day I knew I had a clear and consistent plan to stick to that I could factor into each day.
I also knew Rachael was a well-qualified trainer and that each part of her program not only came in clear instructions but with a scientific base, assuring me of its effectiveness.
I knew that, no matter how I felt that day, I could achieve a small win and progress towards my final goals.
6. WHAT WAS THE MOST CHALLENGING PART OF THE PROGRAM? WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO KEEP GOING?
GEORGIA: The running was definitely the hardest!
As I dance, I’ve never really bothered with other types of cardio so running was challenging for me. I found my body took quite a while to adapt to it. But I’ve always loved a good challenge!
I love to see my body doing and achieving new things so I knew if I didn’t go out and get it done, I would never know my full potential!
My sister also kept me accountable!

7. WHEN DID YOU FIRST START SEEING RESULTS?
GEORGIA: I saw instant results as I lost water weight and cut most of the junk food out of my diet but those slowed during the middle of the plan.
I entered with a mindset of not monitoring my progress by my image in the mirror or the scales (fat weighs more than muscle!) but by my mood and mentality.
In the final weeks, I started comparing my before and after pictures and really noticed the difference my dedication had created!
It was definitely a bit of blind trust throughout but I’ve learnt you need to stay consistent!
After I finished your program, I finally felt like my old self!
I felt confident, I could wear whatever I wanted and take pics for the gram without restricting my meals like I used to do. It was definitely a sense of achievement.
Not everyday was perfect… in fact most weren’t… but just ticking off as much as I could and learning what my body responded to taught me so much more than just how to look good!
8. WHAT ARE YOUR FITNESS GOALS FOR THE FUTURE? HOW DO YOU STAY IN SHAPE AFTER FINISHING THE PROGRAM?
GEORGIA: I am constantly aiming to be consistent and to maintain myself… to improve my self-confidence and self-image.
I’m still doing your workouts and runs. I have also taken up Pilates because I find it really energising and in line with your workouts!

9. WOULD YOU RECOMMEND 3 STEPS TO LEAN LEGS PROGRAM TO YOUR FRIENDS? WHY?
GEORGIA: I definitely would!
There is so much fitness info out there on Google and it can be extremely hard to navigate it all… even as a health student!
Rachael’s program is science-based, clear, simple, and can be done in any location. The meals from the meal plan are great and anybody can do it.
What makes Rachael’s program stand out is her empathy and understanding. She knows what it’s like to be self-conscious and that the gym isn’t for everyone.
This program gives women back that confidence and self-love and allows them to achieve their dream body.
