Thinking of healthy and delicious things to eat for dinner can be hard. I have these 5 healthy dinners as my fall back options for when I can’t think of anything else! 

1. Stir Fry With Brown Rice

Use lean meat with LOTS of vegetables – seriously, as many vegetables as you can. Use a low sodium bottled sauce or tamari sauce with garlic and herbs. One great thing about stir fry is that you can make enough for a few meals.

dinner2. Chicken Curry With Brown Rice

Another easy one is curry. Again use lean meat with lots of vegetables. Stir through some curry paste and light coconut milk and serve with brown rice. This is another one that you can make and have leftovers.

3. Burrito Salad Bowl

I love Mexican, but it can sometimes be unhealthy. Make your own with finely sliced beef (or chicken), seasoning, brown rice, avocado, tomato, green leaves, brown rice and a bit of cheese.

dinner4. Chicken Cacciatore

I make my chicken cacciatore by crumbed thin slices of chicken in almond meal or LSA (linseed, sunflower seed and almond meal mix). I then mix up in a big fry pan – tinned tomatoes, capsicum, olives, capers and some green beans. Add the chicken back to the pan, and cook for another 10 or so minutes until the capsicum is soft. Delish!

5. BBQ Meat With Roast Potato And Green Veggies

This is one of my favourites. I choose a good quality piece of protein and cook it on the BBQ (makes it taste awesome!). And then I roast up some white or sweet potato and have some steamed green veggies with it (broccoli is my go to). It doesn’t have to be difficult to taste good and be healthy for you!

  1. I think I have to try these meals, since my cheat meals have contributated on my weight gain, became lazy and stopped working out, now I gained weight, so am dedicated to start over again. And to never stop this time, with your motivation I can actually make it. I’ll also email the before and after picture for results
