You can’t have abs without having a good, clean diet. No matter how hard you work your abs, you will never see them if there is a layer of fat over the top of them. I know this blog post is on exercises for your abs, but I just wanted to make that clear first!

The lower abs are actually made up of the lower part of the rectus abdominis and external obliques (read more about ab muscles here). Here are some of my favourite and best exercises for lower abs.

  1. Garhammer raise
  2. Reverse crunch
  3. Modified v up
  4. 90 degree oblique crunch
  5. Slider mountain climbers
  6. C crunch
