In this blog post, I’m going to show you how to make Healthy Ferrero Rocher slice :)

Yes, it does taste as good as it sounds! Hope you like it!

BASE INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 12 fresh medjool dates
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 3 tbsp water

FILLING INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup cashews soaked overnight in water
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp hazelnut butter
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp maca powder
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • Pinch of salt

METHOD

  1. Blend all base ingredients in a food processor.
  2. Press into base of a lined pan.
  3. Blend filling ingredients in a food processor until thick and smooth.
  4. Pour over base.
  5. Stir through extra hazelnuts (optional).
  6. Set in freezer for 6 hours.

Makes 8 large (or 16 smaller) slices.

  1. Does it need to be eaten frozen or after it sets in the freezer it can be moved to the fridge….love your recipe and wanting to make it

  2. Hi Rachael, your recipe sounds awesome! A few questions, do you serve from the freezer, or will the slice still present well if thawed and sliced straight out of the fridge and what size container did you use?
