I actually can’t believe how great these turned out! I think they taste better than the real deal. Here’s the recipe for this healthy cherry ripe slice.

Ingredients (base)

  • 1 cup gluten free oat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups almond meal
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup honey

Ingredients (filling)

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh cherries
  • 2 cups shredded coconut
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry powder (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Ingredients (topping)

  • 1 cup cashews, soaked overnight in water
  • 3/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup honey

Method

  1. Blend up each layer in a food processor and press into a lined pan.
  2. Refrigerate overnight.
