
Here’s the recipe for this amazing and healthy salted chocolate and peanut butter slice.
This recipe is one of my favourite creations! It’s hard not to eat the entire thing!
INGREDIENTS (BASE)
- 3/4 cup almonds
- 10 fresh dates
- Pinch of salt
- A few tablespoons of water
INGREDIENTS (FILLING)
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- 1/4 cup rice malt syrup
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- Pinch of salt
- Handful roasted peanuts (optional)
INGREDIENTS (TOPPING)
- 75g melted organic dark coconut chocolate (which I bought here)
METHOD
- Blend up all base ingredients in a food processor, adding water until it just starts to stick together.
- Press into the base of a lined cake tin (rectangular).
- Combine filling ingredients in a bowl and spread over base. Place in freezer.
- Melt chocolate in microwave until just melted. Pour over filling.
- Allow to set in freezer for 1-2 hours before cutting.
You can cut it up into large bars or small squares, or whatever you prefer :)
