In this interview, I chatted with 34 y/o Marion. She’s French but she now lives in Madrid, Spain. She recently finished my Lean Legs Video Course.
Marion is also one of the winners of my Progress Pic Competition.

So if you don’t do your cardio and you need a bit of help with your nutrition, my original program would be perfect for you :)
But if you already do your cardio regularly and eat healthy most of the time, my Lean Legs Video Course would be a better option for you. It has the same resistance training as my original Program but in a full-length video format).

MARION’S REVIEW OF THE LEAN LEGS VIDEO COURSE
1. WHAT WAS YOUR FITNESS ROUTINE BEFORE YOU STARTED LEAN LEGS VIDEO COURSE? WHAT MADE YOU CHANGE IT?
MARION: I had no fitness routine at all before beginning the Lean Legs Video Course for a long time.
I have always been active though, I dance a lot (it’s my passion) and I started kick-boxing in November 2019 twice a week.
This definitely helped me lose some weight but I grew muscles in the upper legs and get them to be even bulkier, which was not really what I was looking for.
I realized that even if I was active it was not effective on my body so I started looking for fitness programs and that’s when I found yours :)

2. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT THE LEAN LEGS VIDEO COURSE AND WHAT CONVINCED YOU TO TRY IT OUT?
MARION: A friend of mine was already doing your course and recommended it to me as she knew I was struggling to get my legs thinner.
So I started by reading (ALL) your articles on the blog ahah and that was what convinced me. I remember reading your blog and thinking, “Omg everything she says is true, I can grow muscles super fast and I always have a bulky look.”
Your blog articles really resonated with me and explained so much about how my body reacted to my past exercises. That’s when I decided to try out your Video Course.
4. DID YOU KNOW WHAT’S YOUR BODY TYPE BEFORE DOING MY BODY TYPE QUIZ?
MARION: No, I didn’t know about the different female body types!
I discovered it through your blog articles and it enlightened me a lot on the reasons why all the previous exercises I was doing didn’t work the way I wanted to.
BTW, Marion is an Endomorph body type and she followed my Lean Legs Video Course for Endomorphs. :)

5. WHAT WAS YOUR ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE PART OF MY PROGRAM AND WHY?
MARION: I’m more used to HIIT or really intense exercises so at first I was like “Its too easy” cause I wasn’t sweating a lot or I didn’t finish out of breath the exercises.
So I had the feeling at first it wasn’t working. But then I realized that it was a progressive training and that it was getting harder from week to week, I also noticed that I was more toned without getting bulky.
I really started to love less intense exercises since I realized that you don’t need to be out of breath for an exercise to work. I discovered a new way to train with low intensity cardio and I loved it.

6. WHAT WAS THE MOST CHALLENGING PART OF THE PROGRAM? WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO KEEP GOING?
MARION: The most challenging for me truly was to believe in myself.
The first month I don’t see obvious changes cause, of course, it takes time, so I had a tendency to think “It’s not gonna work, nothing ever works for me, why would it be different this time”.
It’s all about mental strength, the main obstacle for me was myself and my motivation. I was looking at the before/after pics of the other endomorph girls and I was thinking “if they did it you can too, keep going !”.
7. WHEN DID YOU FIRST START SEEING RESULTS?
MARION: I really started to see results at the end of the Course around the 2nd month (I did it for almost 3 months in total).
After 1 month I could feel I was getting toned and some exercises were less hard for me, especially the ones where your arms have to support you. (Before your Course, I had absolutely no strength in my arms.)
I could see I was starting to lose cellulite too. During the 2nd month, I started noticing my water retention reduced, I could finally see a difference between my calves and my ankles ahah and that was everything for me!!!!
In the middle of the Course, I’ve finally been able to go out for power walks. I know Rachael always recommends power walking for faster results but before that, I couldn’t go because of the quarantine. I think power walking also really helped a lot to get my legs thinner!

At the end of the 2nd month and during the 3rd one I realized my body was changing, my legs were getting thinner and I toned my calves which definitely helped to reduce the look water retention used to give me.
I really recommend to take pictures and take your measures to track your progress. When you’re building muscle tone you don’t lose weight on the scale cause muscle weight more than fat and that can be depressing to see you’re “not losing” weight.
And as your body changes slowly you actually don’t see the results beacuse you are used to your reflection in the mirror.
When I saw my before/after pic I was literally in shock of the progress I made and that really motivated me to keep going.
8. HOW DID YOU FEEL AFTER FINISHING THE COURSE? WERE YOUR HAPPY WITH YOUR RESULTS?
MARION: I was really happy when I finished!
First of all, I was proud of myself because I did it till the end :)
I stuck to the plan I didn’t miss any workout and I was trying to eat healthy as much as possible with 1 or 2 cheat meals a week. But never I starved myself!
I was happy to realize that if I really wanted to I could really change my body.
I used to be so ashamed of my legs (I would never take full body pictures because I felt bad about myself).
I’ve been struggling for years to reduce my legs and my water retention. I’m so happy I found your Course.

9. WHAT ARE YOUR FITNESS GOALS FOR THE FUTURE? HOW DO YOU STAY IN SHAPE AFTER FINISHING THE COURSE?
MARION: I’m not done with my weight loss journey yet, I still want to get my legs thinner and get more toned.
But this course definitely changed me at so many levels!
It changed my way of thinking, I’m not obsessed anymore with the number on the scale. Numbers are far less important than how you feel in your body :)
I never hated sports (as I said I always been active I danced since I was 3yo, I swam for 10 years)… but now I really like training.
On the days I don’t train I miss it! So I’m not yet where I want to be but I am definitely on the way to a massive change.
I’m definitively planning on doing another round of your Course. My intention is to keep training 3 to 5 times a week and eat healthy to mantain my results.
10. WOULD YOU RECOMMEND LEAN LEGS VIDEO COURSE TO YOUR FRIENDS?
MARION: I would definitely recommend your Lean Legs Video Course, without a doubt. It takes into account your body type and I never saw that in a fitness program and I think it changes everything!
11. DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE FOR WOMEN WHO ARE ABOUT TO START THEIR FITNESS JOURNEY WITH MY COURSE?
MARION: Don’t skip training, eat healthy, stop eating junk and process food, drink a lot of water.
And most importantly believe in yourself. This is the key of your motivation and your success! You can do it, you just have to take the first step!!! :)
