I’ve followed Dani on Instagram for a long time now and she always motivates and inspires me with her amazing yoga poses, her positivity, and of course her bod! So I thought I would find out what she does to stay fit and healthy, and get a bit of insight into a model’s workout and diet routine.

How do you stay in such amazing shape?! What type of exercise do you like to do? Do you have any favourites workouts or gyms?

I love yoga! I started about 18months ago. It is so powerful, invigorating and amazing for the mind/body balance and also whips me into shape! I also do pilates/core related workouts, long walks and incorporate quick 30 minute circuits with my sister whenever we can!

I don’t stick to a schedule. My muscles react well to changing up the pace each day by not knowing what to expect. I just go with what i feel like on the day.

How many times per week do you workout?

I move my body in some way everyday. I’ve always been active from a very young age so it is just a part of who i am today.

What’s your average day on a plate look like? Do you stick to any particular diet?

I don’t stick to a particular diet but these are my regular go to meals. 

Breakfast: Whip together a big smoothie with frozen banana, berries, protein powder, coconut water and then add coconut, nuts and banana on top.

Lunch: Salad of spinach, kale, carrot, sweet potato, avocado, tomato, cucumber, tuna.

Dinner: Salmon/garlic prawns (YUM!), with another big green salad or ove baked vegetables.

I love almonds! I have an obsession and probably should cut back ;) and love my coffee too!

Do you have any go-to healthy meals?

Salmon and salad. So healthy and so tasty! If I want something quick and healthy to buy I love Japanese. Grilled salmon, brown rice, miso and salad are a favourite also.

Do you ever have cheat meals? What’s your favourite food to indulge in?

Of course I do!! Anything Mexican is all time!

If you ever have to be in a bikini or lingerie for a shoot, do you do anything special before to look your best?

Most of my shoots are in a bikini but I do make sure I’m always drinking plenty of water! I’m very conscious of being well hydrated and having glowing skin!

How do you stay motivated to work out and eat healthily?

Knowing how GOOD it makes me feel and how much energy and balance it brings me. For all reading this, once you get a little taste of how it makes you feel, the rest is history! You will gravitate toward healthy choices if you’re moving your body and vice versa.

Do you have a motto or mantra that you live by?

Encourage yourself, believe in yourself, and love yourself today. Never doubt who you are.
