Ingredients (base)

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 12 fresh medjool dates
  • Pinch rock salt

Ingredients (filling)

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • ¼ cup raw cacao powder
  • ¼ cup raw honey (or sweetener of choice)
  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil

Method

  1. Place almonds in a food processor and blended until nuts have been processed but are still a little chunky.
  2. Add the dates and rock salt and combine well. You want the mixture to be sticking together but still a little crumbly.
  3. Press mixture into a lined baking tin (I used a cheesecake tin).
  4. Add all filling ingredients into a food processor and combine well until thoroughly mixed.
  5. Pour over the top of base and freeze for two hours.
