Learn More About the Competition!

Taking “before and after” pictures is super important if you want to participate in the Progress Pic Competition, but that’s not the only reason why you should do it.

Many people often overlook this step, and it is absolutely necessary if you want to properly track your progress. Sometimes, it is hard to see the difference when you look in the mirror or weigh yourself, and this can cause you to lose motivation. But when you compare two photos, you can actually see this difference – and trust me, seeing your progress is going to motivate you!

I know some of you might feel too shy to do it (no one wants to take photos of their body when they don’t feel confident), but do it for yourself. I can promise you this - you’ll want to look at them afterwards! Use them to keep motivated and see how far you’ve come. 

Make sure to take a full body photo (from your head to your toes). You want to take a photo from the front, from the side and from behind.

Create an account on the Lean Legs Club platform using the email address you used when purchasing. If you use a different email address, our system won’t be able to recognise you.

Log in to your account. Choose your body type. The default body type is Mesomorph. You can change it by clicking on the "Body Type" under the "Free Items" tab.

If you cannot see your program in the pink menu bar, wait for about 15 - 30 minutes, log out and log in again.

II am a mix between a mesomorph and endomorph, what’s the difference between those two programs?

The main difference is in HIIT training – the mesomorph program includes HIIT training while the endomorph program doesn’t since HIIT training can result in bulking up endomorphs. If you are in between a mesomorph and endomorph, I would recommend following the endomorph program, just to be on the safe side. :)

I am in between two body types, which one should I choose? 

If you are a mix between an ectomorph and mesomorph, I would recommend going for the mesomorph program. And if you are a mix between a mesomorph and endomorph, the safest option would be to go for the endomorph program :) 

I did your body type quiz and didn’t know how to answer some questions. Now I am not sure if that’s my real body type.

Do you need to already be slim to do this program? I have weight to lose.

Definitely not :) This plan includes both a workout and meal plan that are specifically designed for weight loss, and to help you get lean and toned.

I recommend focusing on walking as much as possible every day and doing resistance workouts 3 days per week.  You can add a running session whenever you have some extra time, but walking and circuits are a priority.

I just finished the program, what’s next?

After finishing the first 8 weeks of the program, I suggest doing another round for even better results or maintenance. You can also add (slightly heavier) ankle weights or resistance bands, or you can increase repetitions per set to make the workouts more challenging. If you'd like to add more variety in the second round, you can combine the program with other types of workouts such as swimming, boxing, pilates, yoga and similar!

What if I’m too busy to work out every day?

I understand that having a busy schedule can make the workouts a bit more difficult to stick to. I recommend focusing on walking, as much as possible, every day and doing resistance workouts 3 days per week.  You can add a running session whenever you have some extra time, but walking and circuits are a priority if you want to get good results.

How do I track my steps?

I use the Health app on my iPhone or a free app called Argus. And you can also track the step count using a smart watch or a fitness band. :)

I don’t want to lose weight; how can I maintain my weight on your program?

You will be able to maintain your weight if you eat as many calories as you burn. Another option would be to cut out the running and just do the walking and circuits.

-My programs include a full-body workout plan so you don’t need to add any extra workouts. You’re more than welcome to modify it, but you’ll get the best results if you follow it as it is. :)

I have food allergies, and I am not able to follow your meal plan. Can I replace the ingredients I am allergic to?

Of course! The most important thing is to stay within your macros guidelines and to keep an eye on your overall calorie intake. :)

Can I combine the morning and afternoon workouts? How do I do this?

Yes, you can combine the two workouts by doing the run or circuit first and then finishing it with as much walking as you can.

I am not able to run due to an injury; can I replace running with some other type of exercise?

Yes! The best replacement is more walking! Just be sure to double up the time you would spend running and add it to your power walking sessions! :)

Can I split my walking routine into two or more shorter walks?

What’s important is to walk at least 10,000 steps each day, so you can split your walks into two shorter ones if it is easier for you to organise the rest of your day in that way.
